The Thule Caprock Platform Rack System offers many options & possibilities. You can mount it on the roof of your truck, or your truck bed (to mount on the truck bed, you will need a rack to mount it). If you have preexisting bars on your SUV, and you don’t really want to take your load bars off- there is a solution for that also. If you are adding as just a roof rack- you do not need pre-existing load bars for for some vehicles. The Caprock itself provides a great base to work off of for your adventures. You can mount a rooftop tent, or various other products with so many available t- slot locations including items like light bars & jacks. Want Railings? There is an option below to add railings making your platform more of a cargo basket. The platforms themselves have seven different size options- five for the roof & two for the truck bed.
